Our mission is twofold: to offer free access to books and zines from the local LGBTQIA community, and to create a fresh spring haven for reflection and repose. We have a designated rest zone where visitors can meditate, co-work, relax, or read queer comics and stories. Historically, queer voices and experiences have been marginalized and silenced. Having an open, safe, warm, comfortable and free space where these perspectives can be read about and celebrated is vital.

Our focus on relaxation and reflection is significant, as in today’s fast-paced and often stressful world, it’s easy to forget the importance of taking a break and allowing ourselves time to recharge. Our project encourages a mindful approach to time management and highlights the importance of community care and well-being. Our goal is to resist the capitalist system by promoting agency and autonomy over time. With work and productivity often valued above all else, it’s essential to challenge the notion that our output solely determines our worth. We’re disrupting this harmful ideology by providing a safe space for rest and reflection.

Join us in celebrating the diverse voices of our LGBTQIA community, and take a moment to rest and recharge.
